Truly an alien feeling land, Goblin Valley State Park is a surreal place. The hoodoos are strangely rounded and lumpy, clustered sometimes in rows as if guarding something, other times in groups like they are standing and gossiping. If you go there with friends it is easy to loose them among the pillars, even though it is a small park. The strange formations, maze-like paths, and way people seam to appear and disappear without warning all make the Goblin Valley more like a dream-scape than a place on earth.
